Do I Need to Buy New Washclothes for Baby or Can I Just Use My Old Ones

We're adopting a baby age 6-12 months. For how long will nosotros be using infant towels & washcloths? I'k wondering if I shouldn't register for many.... I guess the washcloths are always useable. Just he may outgrow the towels quickly??

Congratulations! I think afterward a year, they are really not as necessary. I get a amend wrap now with my larger adult towels. I still employ my baby towels, only they are larger than the usual ones you get at BRU. They came from a store in NY called Denny's and I dearest them. I don't use the ones from BRU at all anymore...really never did...too small-scale IMO. As for washcloths, I don't use 'em for washin'...I used 'em for spit ups at 0-4 months. I just rub a dub with my hands...but that'south only how I do it. :)

We stopped using the baby towels and washcloths about vi months ago, and so maybe around a year (some she outgrew long earlier that - the towels were merely too thin and small). I was packing away her summer clothes and decided to get the baby stuff out of the bathroom also. The big towels piece of work find for her and like Jamie, nosotros never actually used washcloths in the bathroom. We employ them on non-bath nights for a quick washup and occasionally in the bath on her face up. A regular washcloth works fine for us.

We stopped using baby towels effectually 6 months of age; adult ones piece of work merely as well or improve. I still use babe washcloths to wipe Colin'due south face, when he has a runny nose, and such, but not in the bathroom tub.

I still utilize the baby towels and washcloths! Like someone else said, I like them because they don't accept upward a lot of room in the laundry hamper, so I don't have to eash as oftentimes. They nonetheless work merely fine, so why not use them?

Likewise, I don't take a ton of actress towels and I didn't want to purchase "existent" towels for her yet. And I got a ton every bit gifts, so I figure I might every bit well use them.

Nosotros yet use them at 18 months. We have 2 hooded towels that are nice quality and 6 or 7 washcloths for the bathroom. I love the Cherokee washcloths from Target. They're the perfect size and thickness.

I'one thousand so surprised to hear people say they don't employ the washcloths much and that they quit using the towels!! I all the same employ them on my very tall 2.5 y.o.!!! A couple of the towels are too pocket-sized for her at present, merely most of them piece of work neat. Regular towels seem so bulky on her. As for the washcloths, I tin't imagine using adult washcloths on her petty fingers and toes. The baby ones are and then sparse, soft, and perfect for kids. I even bought a new package of them not too long agone since we use them in the bath, for clean-upward on not-bath nights, and for covering her eyes during shampoo.

Maybe the BRU ones are peculiarly small? Most of the ones I have are nice and large. I know one is Carter'south... non sure of the brand of others.
